Very challenging but rewarding

We made a mistake on one part but it was obvious we did once we got clues. Well designed and very challenging.

Extremely challenging, takes a long time (several hours) to solve, use this Site when done.

I figured out most of it on my own but was very disappointed with the envelope reveal included in the game (I played the 2020 version) because it says who did it, but with no explanation. The online resource Hints and Reveals had a much more satisfying Reveal Solution that explains most of how they intended you to come to the conclusion of who done it. IMHO this case was too tedious, convoluted and had far too many major misleading clues while lacking an all important smoking gun (or bloody murder weapon).

Don’t waste your money or time

There is not one single clue that jumps out as the starting point. The clues on the website and the vague and all say the same thing with different verbiage. Nothing labeled bloody came bloody and things were very confusing to put together with no supporting evidence or clues from the help website. Do not buy if you want a linear puzzle that makes sense. Only buy if you want to use every hint that gets you no where and eventually just end up reading the full solution with barely any linear explanation.

Confounded at the pieces

We are by no means a group of genius people. However, the evidence that was supposed to point even vaguely in the right direction was not as described. All of the items described as bloody were not. Fun date though.
