This is a well rounded box. One of my favorites so far. The premise of peeking into the eccentric practices of the hyper wealthy and picking apart what portions they think are genuine wellness practices and who is just putting up a good face felt like I really had to call peoples bluffs and tie all the evidence together to catch them in a lie. The mix of trinkets and paper evidence was also fun. Not just a printed box, lots to mess with.
It was really fun and interesting but I was confused by the ending. The signs didn't really point to it but it also made sense. We were super sure on who it was and the signs seemed like it really was going to be that person, then it wasn't. We still had a great time and will be buying again.
We are keen for the game but still waiting for it to arrive? It is still in Sydney Australia
This was our fifth Hunt a Killer Box and the first where the final solution felt like a total miss. It lacked the usual amount of cyphers and puzzles, only including one code to solve. After reviewing all of the documents, the perpetrator felt obvious, and upon opening the envelope we were shocked. The explanation of who actually did it was lackluster at best, and felt like it relied on vague assumptions you would have to make, and more compelling evidence would have to be ignored. This box feels like the first major disappointment of these games.
we played for a date night and absolutely loved it. we were through it in about two hours and got it right! we loved how in depth it was. definitely gonna do some more of these in the future.
