I've always heard great things about the Hunt a Killer game franchise, so I thought it was time to check it out for myself. These games are kind of like an escape room in a box, in that you have a whole bunch of information dumped in front of you with a bit of narrative, and it's up to you to figure out what's valuable and what's just in there to lead you off track. They lean heavily into ciphers, probably because that's the easiest kind of puzzle to fit in a text-based format; but there are a lot of other kinds of clues and puzzles as well. There's a great level of attention to detail that allows figuring out the answer to feel fairly organic, like once you get there you realize it's the only place you could've gone. And the way the game is packaged, it's like getting 5 game nights in one box.

If you have a detail-oriented group of people who enjoy tossing theories around as they solve puzzles, these are awesome games.

This is a neat set for mystery fans. It would be good for parties or get-togethers. This one would be fun for teenage girls having a sleepover or a family just wanting to have a fun night. You get 6 games separated out into 6 boxes inside a larger storage box, and each set gives you the set of evidence items you need to figure out. I am going to need some time to go through these, and I do not have but so much time to do reviews for my Vine products, and will have to edit my review later if I run into issues or just flat out do not like it. I just thought this would be fun for those rainy days I have nothing to do and could use something to play around with. It looks like it will be a fun set. I am not sure how the price compares to others like it, but when I got it, it looked like getting the set would be cheaper than buying each individual game separately.
