Hint

The first paragraph from your friend has some letters that look out of place. Could be a clue.

Reveal

Once you’ve shifted each letter in the cipher one forward alphabetically, you’ll see the message:

“Shine your light and I will find you.”

So another little question for you: if I am when I am, then where am I?

Hint

Your Friend mentions several various times in their letter. Where would the hour hand of the clock point at each of those times?

Reveal

Five different times are mentioned in the letter — 1:30, 11:00, 5:30, 9:00, and 2:30. The drawing of the clock has letters at each of the hour marks, as well as halfway between each hour. Looking at where the hour hand would be pointing at each of the mentioned times will give you five letters. For example, the first time is 1:30. Halfway between the 1 and 2 on the clock is the letter "L." Doing this for each of the five times gives the letters L - I - M - B - O. Putting them all together gives the answer: "LIMBO."

JUNE 2026

I have a puzzle for you. Words that transform, like a chrysalis, one to another: Hawt si lare? Cobmgine eht terlyftub.

Hint

During metamorphosis, a caterpillar will rearrange itself in its chrysalis to become a butterfly. Try rearranging the letters in each group to see if something new can emerge.

Reveal

Rearranging the letters in each group creates the following message:

What is real? Becoming the butterfly.

Train tracks operate with two rails. Some urban trains utilize a third rail for their power, but let’s stick to the interstate trains for a moment. With two to move on, what do you make of this: Pgxgt uvqr nqqmkpi dgjkpf aqw

Hint

The key is in the first part of the last line “With two to move on…”

Try moving each letter 2 places

Reveal

Shifting each letter back two places gives the decoded message:

Never stop looking behind you.
