Hunt A Killer ranks No. 6 on
Inc. Magazine’s
5000 list

– The immersive gaming company is recognized as one of the fastest growing private companies in the U.S. –

August 12, 2020 — SEATTLE — Today, Hunt A Killer was unveiled as No. 6 on Inc. Magazine’s prestigious 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America. The company, known for their interactive games revolving around sci-fi, horror and mystery storylines, received this recognition after continuing to double revenue year over year, and for their ongoing innovation in the gaming industry. The company’s growth shows no signs of slowing down, with more subscribers joining, new product lines being developed and released, and revenue once again on track to double year over year.

“We are incredibly honored to be ranked in the top 10 on the list this year,” said CEO, and Co-Founder Ryan Hogan. “This is all due to our team’s hard work and dedication, along with the support of our ever growing community. I am so proud of how far we have come over the years.”

Hunt A Killer started with a revenue of just over $100K in 2016, jumping to $5M in 2017, $14M in 2018, and $27M in 2019. In 2020 the company expects to once again nearly double revenue, anticipating over $50M. Another key milestone the company hit in 2020 was selling their two millionth box, a growth of one million since August 2019. 

In addition to financial growth, Hunt A Killer has seen more than a 350% increase in subscribers since 2017, currently reaching over 100,000 subscribers. Members have also built large online communities around the games, creating private Facebook groups to provide tips and share moments of themselves during game play. The Hunt A Killer online community has now grown to over 128,000 Facebook members.
“We are growing fast, and this acknowledgement from Inc. Magazine inspires us. We plan to continue working hard for our members, our partners, and each other as we expand, and continue to create exciting and immersive experiences for our growing community of members,” said Hogan.

There are many new projects in the works for Hunt A Killer. Their first retail ready all-in-one gaming experience, Death at the Dive Bar, is scheduled to hit Target shelves in October, with additional availability on Amazon in September. Hunt A Killer will also continue to grow their portfolio of games, with some exciting partnerships being announced later this year, and will look into the world of publishing with their licensing agency, Moxie & Co.
